Steel Nation - Forever Wounded
They are from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and they love the Penguins.They put out an EP a couple years ago on Double or Nothing, but soon after that the singer left the band. They reorganized the band with the bassist and one of the guitarists taking the vocal duty, and it's a lot better this way.Following a split with Crucified, they've just put out one of the heaviest and grooviest albums of the year. Double or Nothing put this out (just like the split) with 13 songs, going over 35 minutes. There's nothing really fancy in this album, just straight up Hardcore, the way it should be. Lyrics are pissed and catchy, vocal patterns are well done. There's also a few solos, plus a ton of hard riffs and grooves. If you're into Biohazard, Terror, Hatebreed or you just like heavy music in general, consider this album to be one of your favorites! They are still on tour for the rest of October with Death Before Dishonor. You should buy this album, go to their shows and bring them something to drink or smoke!
