BETTER NOW THAN NEVER.

This should have been here like more than two month ago, i'm sorry.
Our friend Justin will write some shit for the blog and the Zine from time to time.
Peace
Lifers Crew Worldwide.
What's up everyone? my name is Justin. i just turned 30 and live in northeastern Pennsylvania. I've been going to shows for 13+ years and very excited to be writing for lifers. the first two issues were great and it's only getting better. I'm just going to talk about random things from the past year and the upcoming year.
I want to start off with my top 5 hardcore albums of last year (in no particular order). i know most people are going to think 3 Pennsylvania bands? hahaha. but these records can't go unrecognized:
Maximum Penalty - Life & Times
Wisdom In Chains - Everything You Know...
Strength For A Reason - Burden Of Hope
Steel Nation - forever wounded
Death Before Dishonor - Better ways to die
Bands whose albums i'm looking forward to in the upcoming year:
Killing Time
Everyday Dollars
Confusion (been waiting for the discography for a while)
Darkside NYC (see confusion)
Madball
Shows/Things i'm looking forward to in the upcoming year:
united blood fest
superbowl of hardcore (my single favorite show of the year)
this is hardcore (best weend of shows all year. runs flawless and usually ahead of time schedules every year)
current playlist

n.w.a. - niggaz for life
cocksparrer - all
foundation - hang your head (my favorite younger new band)
clenched fist - just like roaches
denied - prayer for the enemy
always on rotation
leeway - rise and fall/desperate measures
cro-mags - age of quarrel
underdog - the vanishing point
killing time - brightside
sheer terror - all
neglect - all

Cold world
Wisdom in chains
No turning back (Netherlands)
Not without resistance
Steel nation
Deliberate intent

FRESH FOR 2010

Alright, this is what's up: we just came back from a weekend with our boys in Trapped Under Ice, Death Threat and Revenge. We want to thank everbody who was there. This was the best weekend I've had in a long time. Shows were dope, lots of good hangouts & tons of old friends. All the bands killed it at every show. Shout out to Fred for everything, Lifers Crew, Fortune Teller, Out Of This World, Stuck In The City, Strikeback prod.

If you ever go to Quebec City, stop by our boy at Army Supplywww.surpluspontrouge.com
We got some new shirt designs and some demo tapes. Take a look at our Big Cartel merch store.

Here is our Free Demo Right Here
We are playing a show with Naysayer and Steel Nation in March, check our myspace for more details.
Lifers Issue 3 is still in the works, there'll be a lot of amazing stuff in it. We'll try to put Issue 1 in a pdf and put it up for download real soon. We'll probably print a second press of Issue 2 if we get a lot of demands.
Once again Reaper Records is bringing out the real shit: Born Low from Albany have a new cd out (Review coming soon.) Piece By Piece has a new LP, Down To Nothing also has a new EP and Terror will be coming out with Keeper Of The Faith.
