DEAD END PATH - DEATH WALKS BESIDE US

Dead End Path is another band coming out from Wilkes Barres, PA. Once again, this is another band that you need to check out. Their demo is one of the best of 2009, and I think this EP is easily in my top 10 this year. They got everything to make you punch somebody in the face for no reason. The guitar tone is heavy, but not nu metal-kinda heavy, I mean straight up Merauderish. Everything is good, I don't know where I should start. Vocals are pissed, so are the lyrics, a lot of grooves and breakdowns, catchy riffs and two good guest appearances. All they need now is to get passports and come play up north. The pre orders are now up on Triple B. Don't sleep.

APRIL, MAY & JUNE

I just got back from Europe, Expect a bunch of pictures and probably a tour review pretty soon. I had so much fun, Can't wait to make my way there again. Major shoot out to my boys in Beneath The Massacre.

We are playing a couple shows at the end of the month and with Death Threat in June Come Hang out. We will play 2 new songs and we will have at least one new Design.

I did the vocals on the demo for a second time in April, Its sound a lot better in my opinion. We are waiting for a final mix. After that will do another batch of tapes and maybe something else.

Born Low (previously named It's Alive) put out "Reincarnage" through the realest label in the business (no diss to anyone doing their thing) Reaper Records. After putting out the demo under the other name, they decided to change their name and fortified their songs, heavily influenced by New York Hardcore from the mid-90's onward. On this record you got everything you need: sick bass lines, fast parts, solos and a bunch of groovy riffs. Production is dope. I really like the vocal patterns Kyle used, and the bass tone is near perfection. We won't talk about Derek's drumming because we all know he's tight as hell. They're playing shows as much as they can, so support them, support Reaper Records, support Hardcore in 2010.
